Assessment answers
The Paving Business Assessment is scored entirely in your browser. Your answers are saved to your own device’s local storage so that you can close the tab and pick up where you left off.
Your answers are not transmitted to Paving Alliance. We do not receive your score, your responses, or the fact that you took it — unless you choose to contact us and tell us. Clearing your browser data removes them permanently, and we have no copy.
Asking us to walk you through your results: the results page has an optional form for that. If you fill it in and send it, we receive your name, company, email, any phone number and note you add, and any optional business details you choose to give (your role, website, location, company size, the work you do and how you heard about us), and record them as an enquiry so the right person can call you. Your scores and answers come with it only if you tick “Include my results”. The box starts unticked.
Personal assessment links: if someone from Paving Alliance sends you a personal assessment link, the end of the assessment shows an unticked box asking whether you want to share your results with us. Only if you tick it and press “Share results” do we receive your scores and answers, attached to your company so we can prepare a conversation around them. If you don’t, the personal link behaves exactly like the public assessment.
Emails from our team
If we email you about membership, every message names who it is from, includes our postal address, and has a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately and permanently, and we keep only the minimum needed to make sure you aren’t contacted again. To have your details removed entirely, email us at the address below.
The margin calculator
The same applies. Everything you type into the job margin calculator stays in your browser and is never sent anywhere.
Contact submissions
If you submit an information request, we receive what you enter: your name, company, email, phone if provided, the nature of your enquiry, your message, and your role, website and location if you choose to give them. We use it to respond to you and to assess membership fit. We do not sell it.
The Job Cost Portal demo
The interactive demo on this website uses entirely fictional data. The jobs, customers, employees, invoices and figures shown were created for demonstration purposes. This website is not connected to any customer account and displays no real member or client information.
Member information
Member company details are confidential. The only member companies named anywhere on this site are those Paving Alliance has already identified publicly. We do not publish member counts, member financials, or territory data.
Analytics and cookies
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party tracking scripts. The only browser storage used is the local storage described above, which is functional rather than analytical.
Your data in the Job Cost Portal
If you are a JCP customer, your job costs, customer records and employee data are yours. This page covers the public website only — your platform agreement governs the product itself.
